Frank Christopher, 14 yrs old

Franks parents separated due to marital problems, as the result of the marriage breakdown Frank was forced to live on the streets with other street children. We were able to take Frank due to a program we do weekly called “Street Children Visitation”. When Frank came to Hope Center it was very difficult being much more of a street child it took a lot of prayer and effort to change his behavior but by the grace of God all things became possible.

Rebeca Robert, 12 yrs old

Rebeca Robert, 12 yrs old

We traveled to Singida and this little girl ran toward us and she looked at us saying “I am looking for a job.” We decided to take her back to Arusha on the way she cried for food we stopped and bought her food. We brought her to the hospital doctors proved she was okay through all the abuse and mistreating, again we left that in the past praying for Gods healing upon her life. At the time Rebeca was 7 years old with no curriculum knowledge, we enrolled her into school but they denied her due to her age. We continued to try and the school finally accepted her she had to start in class one supposedly she was to be in class three but her age kept her, till this day she is very smart and catches on very quickly Rebeca is one of the top kids excelling academically.

Grace Charles, 8 yrs old

Grace is an only child, before she came to Hope Orphanage Center she was living with her mother. Her father who was a victim to HIVs died in 2010 due to AIDs her neighbors informed us about the dangerous situation that Grace was living under. She suffered from lack of nutrition she became abandoned up to 3 days at a time, she wandered around begging for food and started to become brittle. We took Grace to the hospital and the diagnosis showed that she is not affected by any means of HIV we decided to take her into Hope Orphanage. Within three months grace’s health has changed drastically and she always looks with a smiling face.
